Responsibilities

The Recreation Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering recreation services for the community. The Department is responsible for the maintenance of the existing facilities (Town Beach and parks), as well as coordinating their scheduling. We work closely with the School District, local civic groups, and Town sports organizations, as well.

The Recreation Department could not exist without the hard work and dedication of volunteers. Please don't hesitate to Email the Recreation Department if you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or ideas for programs. 

Group use of facilities requires prior approval from the Recreation Office.
